Sunday 4th July saw the club hold its annual Water Picnic, at the Kind invitation of George and Julie Martin. The lakes and grounds always form a delightful backdrop to a relaxing fun day out. With water tests for Novice and Open dogs, set by our judges Jon Luke and David Whittaker, the gathered handlers demonstrated their dogs abilities, with some interesting variations of ways to retrieve a dummy! Then it was time to relax and enjoy the Barbecue feast served up by the Masterchef, Mick Reader, who made sure we had little room left for the array of home made cakes…….
The club would like to thank our helpers, dummy throwers and the committee for ensuring a good day was had by all.
